So I've been back in maine since the end of august and a bunch of stuff has happened. I worked for a bookstore for a while and then stupid me got dumb and was fired a few days before Christmas. I've been stuck home since then. I've been reading, writing, drawing and painting a lot more than usual in my idleness and I've started back in with photography. I'm not using a cell phone anymore but for some reason the picture quality still kinda sucks. Its grainy. I wish there was something I could do but short of getting a better camera I think I'm screwed. And I definately cannot afford anything. But just in case my new portraits catch any interest I wanted to say that most if not all will be of me. Thats what happens when you live miles and miles from anyone you know and you don't drive. Well I do but I'm not allowed to. Bad girls who get fired can't use their nice grandparents cars. So yeah There's gonna be a lot more pics of me and I am very vain but not enough to intentionally plaster my face everywhere possible. I want to teach myself about photography and the best way to learn is to do. I am my only human subject. There's so much more to it than I had ever thought. It takes me hours to corodinate wardrobe with hair and make-up and decide on a good place in my house to shoot not to mention my bumbling attempts to set up decent lighting. I don't have one of those buttons to make your camera take a pic when your too far away and I'm lucky I found a tripod the other day. So far its all just trial and error. But hell I'll never know if the tries are good if I'm the only one to ever see them right?
